A.I.R. (Artificial Intelligence Radio, "we," "us") operates air.bassport.tech and radio.bassport.tech. This page explains what information we collect from listeners and creators, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create a creator account, we store your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Uploaded music and metadata. If you submit a song, we store the audio file along with the title, artist name, genre, description, and any notes you provide.
• Download requests. If you request to download a published song, we ask for your name, email address, and mailing address, and we keep a record of that request together with the song you downloaded.
• Listener reports. If you flag a song, we store the reason and any details you provide, along with an anonymized identifier so we can prevent duplicate reports.
• Technical information. We log IP addresses briefly for rate-limiting and abuse prevention (for example, to stop automated download or account-creation abuse).

Why we collect it

• To operate creator accounts and the song submission/review process.
• To fulfill listener download requests and keep a record of who received a copy of a track.
• To review and act on listener reports about specific songs.
• To protect the service from abuse (spam accounts, scraping, bulk automated downloads).

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information. Name, email, and mailing address collected for a download request are used only to fulfill that request and to maintain a record of distribution for the associated song. Account and upload information is used to run the creator submission and moderation workflow.

Third parties

Radio streaming is served through AzuraCast, which we operate on our own infrastructure. Our application is hosted on a virtual private server. We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie (air_session) to keep creators signed in. It is required for account features and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data retention

Account, upload, report, and download-request records are kept for as long as your account or the associated song remains active on the service, or as needed to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us below. You can stop using download requests or creator accounts at any point without affecting your ability to listen to A.I.R.'s public stations.
